Wild Horse isn’t just a band—it’s an experience. Their music is the soundtrack to nights that turn into stories. Formed in East Sussex, England by brothers Jack and Henry Baldwin alongside their childhood best friend Ed Barnes, the band found a new spark in 2024 with the addition of Jade Snowdon, whose skills on keys and violin opened up an exciting new chapter.
Their sound is a radiant collision of indie pop and disco-soaked funk, pulsing with the fearless energy of a generation raised on hip-hop beats and the golden soul of '60s and '70s Brit Rock. Listening to Wild Horse is like throwing on a sharp new suit, pouring a drink, and heading out into the night—fresh, bold, and unforgettable.

Their influences are wide, but their sound is unmistakably theirs: bold, nostalgic, and wildly infectious.

HARD WORK. REAL RECOGNITION.
Known as one of the hardest-working bands on the scene, Wild Horse is constantly writing, rehearsing, and performing with a relentless drive. Their music has been praised by global publications and radio stations, and they've been featured repeatedly on BBC Introducing with multiple Tracks of the Day across various shows.
In fact, their name was even mentioned in UK Parliament in June 2023—a rare feat that hints at their growing cultural relevance.
“One of the hardest working acts around… Wild Horse always pull out all the stops for a high-energy live show with memorable tunes which just keep coming!” – Melita Dennett, BBC Introducing
2023/2024: A BREAKTHROUGH ERA
2023 marked a turning point: Wild Horse completed their first UK tour, played festivals including The Great Escape Festival in Brighton, and headlined sold-out gigs like Jodie Bryant Discovers. Every single release of 2024 was named BBC Track of the Day, and in March 2025, they delivered their 7th BBC Live Lounge session, continuing a streak of packed-out shows and festival appearances across the UK.
“Pop trio Wild Horse have perfectly encapsulated the sound of the summer on their latest single ‘Tangled’—brimming with 80s synths, tropically twangy guitars, and an infectiously energetic beat.” – The Unsigned Guide
A NEW ERA BEGINS: “READ MY MIND”
“Read My Mind” feels like a defining moment in the Wild Horse story. After two years of relentless releases, the band took a step back to reimagine their sound—something true, something bold. The chorus and riff had been written years ago by Jack, but the band returned to it with fresh purpose. What followed was a month-long creative retreat in Oxfordshire, where they worked with incredible collaborators to shape what would become their new sonic identity.
The lyrics were rewritten four times. The goal? Perfection. And they got it.
This is also the band’s first release as a four-piece, and Jade’s arrival has brought more than just instrumentation—she’s grounded their sound and unlocked a whole new dimension. The chemistry clicked instantly. In a beautiful twist of fate, Jade even went to school with Jack, Henry, and Ed, and was in Jack’s year.
Now, their live show feels fuller, richer—more alive. And "Read My Mind" is the explosive beginning of this new phase.
THE FUTURE IS BURNING BRIGHT
Wild Horse are proof that hard work, raw talent, and an unshakable love for music can still cut through the noise. They give everything on stage, delivering shows that leave audiences dancing, shouting, and remembering exactly why they fell in love with music in the first place.
“‘Angles’—I loved it. The guitar solo was so simple but perfect, the right sound of cool. It was really, really good. Loved the vocals.” – Steve Lillywhite, legendary producer
Wild Horse isn’t just coming. They’ve already arrived. And they’re about to make sure everyone knows it.
